What I collect
Your email, if you give it to me. The signup form on /free sends your address to Kit, the service that runs my list. It's used to deliver the checklist and send you my newsletter — nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing actually works.
Correspondence. If you email me, I keep the thread the way anyone keeps their mail.
What this site doesn't do
No cookies, and no analytics scripts run in your browser — the footer says so, and it's literally true. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, shows me aggregate request counts as part of hosting; that happens on their servers, not in your browser, and it doesn't identify you. No advertising trackers, no selling your information, no sharing it for marketing, no profiling.
The iOS app
The Believability app has its own policy at /app-privacy — the short version is that it collects nothing at all.
Your say over it
Write to john@johnlesoine.com and I'll delete what you've sent me, remove you from the list, tell you what I hold, or answer anything this page doesn't.
